About Poder 2020

Building Latino political power through voter registration and engagement.

Why This Matters

In the 2018 midterm elections, 11.7 million Latinx voted, up from 6.8 million in 2014. Latinx voters live in states with early primaries and key battleground states, making their participation critical to every major election. Yet millions of eligible voters remain unregistered. Poder 2020 exists to close that gap through culturally relevant outreach that meets young Latinx voters where they are — on social media, in their communities, and in the languages they speak.

Our approach combines digital storytelling, influencer partnerships, community organizing, and direct voter contact to build a movement that outlasts any single election cycle. We believe that when Latino communities vote, everyone benefits from more representative, responsive government.
